    1. Remove down draft pipe with the old toilet bowl carb...
    2. Make some flanges and pipes...
    3. Bolt'em on...
    4. Go Cruisin'.
(They're from an 40-50's Austin, MG or something...Same as my charging system.)
    5. Try to find or make stacks for'em (these are to big 1-3/4)

Looking good. Out of curiosity how did your bud cut the backing plates down?

In his lathe...Needed some spacers to chuck'em...
The backing plate edges was "Hardened"...
So he cut'em with a saw blade in the lathe and then trimmed the edges...

  10. Depends on application:
1: kruzer, you don’t wanna waste life cleaning every time, you’ve gone for a ride.
2: all about the speed race car.
3: night time kruzer, you don’t wanna waste life cleaning every time, you’ve gone for a ride.

Personally, I’ve got a 3 and am building a 2- ‘cause you can’t kruze out and drive home in the rain without fenders, and you’ve got unnecessary weight at the race.

    Keep ‘em kruzin!

Hi Just seen your great steering damper mount . I am trying to fit one to my model A with split bones but I am told it has to be fixed to the bone not the frame . You don't have any more photos do you ? Its what I need to make .

My SoCal damper rusted out....back when..
Been driving without it...tightened everything up when I put juice brakes on...if needed on a stock A front something's off.

I don't have a damper on mine. Balancing the tires/wheels and adding shocks did the trick for me.
