As the title states, anyone know this fellow? Emailed me about a part... He joined the day he emailed me. ?????
I sold a part to a guy that just joined to buy my part. As long as he pays your golden. In my case , I told him a U.S. postal money order . Easy pea set .Both of us are happy.
@Fortunateson Maybe I should have clarified, did he email you about a part he has that you are looking for, or one you are selling?
I don't know him but a quick google search shows there is a Travis McCall and family in Bonnyville. There is also a car club in Bonnyville called the geargrabbers. https://geargrabbers.ca/ Bonnyville is pretty small and out of the way so chances of someone here knowing him might be slim. The club would probably know him if he is into old cars maybe try contacting them.
He was enquiring about a part I have to sell. I don't want to cast aspersions on th efellow but I thought he would have got back to me by now... I'd accept a money order or an e-transfer but that's about it. Travis, where are you?
Your in the drivers seat. I know right now the U.S. and Canada post office are in a tit for tat and won’t play nice with each other’s money orders. If you get a national bank m.o. from the USA get your bank to hold it until it clears. MAKE sure it is a large bank.
Well, if he joined to ask about a part you have to sell, have him send the funds...once cleared send him the part. Maybe get back to him through the same means that contacted you? I mean if he joined the site to buy the part, why would you think he'd come here to see the thread?
Well if he joined this forum he no doubt is interested in older vehicles so I would think he might peruse the various threads and hopefully this one might catch his attention.
Or he was googling for a part, you had it, he had to join in order to contact you. Lemme ask ya this, say Valentines Day is coming up, you wanna buy them lacey things for the wife. But in order to contact the person selling them things, you have to join the forum. So when ya gonna go back and read through those posts in the forums? Or?...
Never trust an Albertan I say... He’s probably and oilers fan too! just kidding any of you Alberta boys, no hate mail. You guys just gotta learn to drive around corners faster than five mile an hour! Any BC drivers here will know EXACTLY what I’m talkin about! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Well my mom and dad were from Alberta and I still have a cousin there. Some of the drivers I've seen driving through the mountains hate curves...they figure if they just blast through them eventually they will straighten out! Kind of like what happens to an oxbow river over time. LOL Now back on track!
