The bid is at $1750, reserve met right now, ends tommorrow, wish I could keep it, as they are one of my all time dream cars, but I just have too many projects, and no money to put into to them.

BTW, your car and dragrcr50's are the coolesst, I had kind of a gasser image of how I wanted to build mine, just like this model of a 32 vicky gasser I built when I was a kid. Man I love Vickys, kinda wish I wasn't sellin' mine now.

Hey, this poor old pile of parts can be palletized and freighted, or benD here on the HAMB can grab them next time he's out west, both options cheaper than the hauling of an entire car.

Yeah, so do I, I'd really like to see somthing good come of it, instead of just letting it go. The Model A Victoria is number two on my all time favorite body style list Pulling a close second to a 34' three window:

Of which the procedes of this sell will finally help me finish

Did anyone else get their new issue of The Rodders Journal? The Eric Clapton '32 Vicky has to be the finest one out there.

Here's the one I'm working on, not really a Vicky. Took a cowl, door frames and window frame pieces from a very abused Tudor, built the rest on an english wheel and shot bag.

Is the "ducktail"for want of a better way to put it,rear body the diff. between a Vicky and a sedan?

  15. Other body differences were Vicki also had slightly slanted back A Pillars and windshield...and larger doors to, I believe...I'm still learning about mine...

Your'e talking Model A's I hope. I think 32's were the same as Tudors from the doors foward, least I hope so or mine's all wrong.

Curious as what a complete 31 Vicky needing a full resto/hot rod is worth??? It has its typical rust issues but complete car none the less...I went to look at it today and was given a price but trying to see if it's worth what the man was asking???Any info..

  18. The standard answer is that they are worth whatever someone will pay. I bought a real nice one in 1975 for $600. One went for $1350 at the auction in Mitchell, IN yesterday, and it was a bit on the "thin" side to say the least. There was one on a trailer about a block away that was being trolled for something like $17,500 but I didn't stop to look at it. I guess anywhere in between is fair game.

In the early 70s several of my friends and I all looked at and passed on a 31 Victoria with perfect sheet metal and no wood for $250. In retrospect, "Aw, man...".
