Features Rattlecan repaint on my 29 roadster

    Can Rustoleum be painted over? The old story was it has fish oil in the paint to prevent rust and other paints, when applied over the Rustoleum, will not adhere properly.

    I dont know. Never used Rustoleum. I dont think they sell it up here in Norway?!

    Oh and thanks for the feedback you guys. Tomorrow is approval day at my local DMV for plates. Wish me luck.

    Jupp. Approved and homemade plates. It takes about a week to get "real" plates on special order.

    :rolleyes:... @hotrodmano, I did mention your added paint details reminded me of a very early Racing image and I found it...I'm suspecting this could be anywhere from the Later 30s to later 40s...again love the look...;)

    I wonder how many of them old paint jobs were brushed or if they had rattle cans back then? I know the lead paint for sure lasted better than today’s. Curious to see how yours handles up.

  12. Love the new paint job! My avatar was painted with rattle can paint 8+ years ago - I love the fact that I never have to worry about it!

    Nope. No fan. Neither mecanical nor electrical. It actually runs quite well but its a mild, stock engine. It gets a bit hot at long idle but worst case I turn it off while waiting in line. (Good 12 V charging and battery.)
