Remember the old "WHIZZER" motorbikes?

  1. Still have my 47 H model, waiting to come to life. I went through the engine 10 years ago and it has sat ever since. Dumb

    I had one. My uncle used a beach cruiser stretched bike. With white walls. And a original whizzed. It was pretty fast if I’m gonna be honest with you

    in about 1980 there was one all complete, laying on its side at the local junk yard. i asked about, the guy said "75 bucks" ! 75 bucks ! what the hell !!!! you think money grows on trees! well, i didnt buy it, but always knew i should have

    Bought my Schwinn Whizzer from a Ferrari dealer in Los Gatos, California that had it on display in his show room. Guess whaT color it was?

    I too had a Monark twin motorbike. But the twin on mine was a Jack and Heintz engine, not a Power Products.
    In addition to the twin cylinders it had a clutch that was vastly superior to the moving idler pulley on the Whizzers. It was a single disc dry clutch similar to a motorcycle or automobile.

    rode one for the first time 4 years ago, got the bug and started searching for them. Lots of fun to ride and mechanically easy to work on.
