Still have my 47 H model, waiting to come to life. I went through the engine 10 years ago and it has sat ever since. Dumb
I had one. My uncle used a beach cruiser stretched bike. With white walls. And a original whizzed. It was pretty fast if I’m gonna be honest with you Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
in about 1980 there was one all complete, laying on its side at the local junk yard. i asked about, the guy said "75 bucks" ! 75 bucks ! what the hell !!!! you think money grows on trees! well, i didnt buy it, but always knew i should have
Bought my Schwinn Whizzer from a Ferrari dealer in Los Gatos, California that had it on display in his show room. Guess whaT color it was?
I too had a Monark twin motorbike. But the twin on mine was a Jack and Heintz engine, not a Power Products. In addition to the twin cylinders it had a clutch that was vastly superior to the moving idler pulley on the Whizzers. It was a single disc dry clutch similar to a motorcycle or automobile. https://clevelandhistorical.org/items/show/153
rode one for the first time 4 years ago, got the bug and started searching for them. Lots of fun to ride and mechanically easy to work on.
