  2. Maybe just the angle, but looks kinda long, like truck.

  3. 32+ Ford. Do you have any other pictures?

Looks like a '40 (like 35-40). But the body mount appendages varied by year

35-40, 36-39 would have wide five wheels, 35-36 have mechanical brake rod actuated, 37-39!have cable actuated brakes and 39-40 have hydraulic brakes.

35-40 car and light truck very similar. I’m agreeing with Seb that this is a ‘35 and believe it is from a car by the looks of the blocks towards the rear of the chassis.

Not a pickup, has body mounts on it, one of the differences.

  10. 20170128_033949.jpg Looks just like my 35 Ford frame.

  11. I don't know what looks rougher...
The Frame or the trailer it is sitting on..

  12. The single bolt hole in the radiator mounts is a '35 only thing, too.

Looks like a trailer frame to me. What it was before, I don’t know....

Most importantly, does it have legible serial numbers on the driver's side rail?

I identify it as the start of someone's new project.

You need to watch those old farm wagons and take a look at the running gear, you never know what you will find.

I’m thinking 35 Ford but I’m no expert on these matters..
I know Ford had a number of years where the chassis’s were very similar. Front and rear spring and axle arrangements, rear axle radius arm brackets, wheel hubs, and bolt patterns vary from year to year.. This one has small hubs and mechanical brakes so that eliminates 36-40..

Thanks to everyone for the help. Will post better pics after cleaning it up some. Sounds like it’s a 35
