Boost is another word for pressure and if you remember from science class, pressure is resistance to flow. You make more boost by spinning the blower faster. The camshaft doesn't have a whole lot to do with it.

My advise is to call whatever supercharger company you like to get parts from, tell them your combination and you want 6 pounds of boost and they will send you everything you need. At 6 pounds, the motor will still make plenty of power, you won't have to fret over your headgasket selection and it will be fairly maintenance free. Keep an eye on your timing and air/fuel ratio and you will be good to go.
