  1. Tore the old upholstery off the the back seat for my '40 in preparation for new padding and covers. Looks to be an adventure...

Picked up an old tire machine. Everything works but it could use a good cleaning and going over. KIMG0229.JPG

I've been distracted from my main project, my 61 Olds, for a couple months while my wife and I are finishing our pool house, and a couple weeks ago I went under contract on an investment property, both taking up a bit of my time.

Recognizing I'm going to be splitting my time a bit, I need to put something on the road. My old faithful 57 Ford has been leaking like a sieve for years, and now to the point I don't even want to drive it. A few years ago I had a buddy put together a fresh 727 for me, but I just never got around to installing. This weekend I decided it was time. Got out there Saturday morning and finished it up a few hours later. Makes me feel like a horse's ass for not doing it sooner. Just a basic 727 Torqueflight with TCI pro super kit, and manual/auto valvebody. The last one has been in this car since I did the engine swap in 2003, and got the absolute hell beaten out of it, and never once skipped a beat.

A few more odds and ends and this one will be ready to go absolutely anywhere.

Took my heap over to my pal Mitch's, longest drive since I got it back together. Rattles a lot less..

Anyway, Mitch restored his grubby '57 in the late '80s. I helped him with the power pack 283, here is an old photo of me getting it ready to stuff back in. Went from red back to the original while over silver color combo. All stock except for a Muncie and American TTs. Sweet ride that is.

Nice smooth video. Thank you. Liked the background music too. It fits. If I had to guess, I say Chet Atkins.

A couple of days ago I took apart the clock for my 47 Ford I got it running for a couple of minutes at first. This morning I'm at the table eating my PB&J and I pick up this ticking noise across the room and this clock started it self up in the middle of the night and is still going.

Installed my first ever kingpins/spindles in a '37-'48 axle donated to me by my uncle. Then decided to paint the axle black. So now I gotta scrape some paint off, but it's looking more like a front axle now. Just need something to put it in...

Thank you! The background music is actually just generic iPhone iMovie Soundtrack Library music that comes standard on iPhones. It is called Happy Trails by Michael Lockwood.

Took the 59 ab distributor out ( 1946 sedan)
The location of the distributor doesn’t make sence to me.
Had to take out the radiator and mech. fan out to have normal acces.
    Wil change to electronic.

No pics yet, dodging rain today. Mostly a collection of parts, some nice some pretty rough. Early dropped and filled '32 front axle and chrome spring with Lincoln brakes and 45 fin Buick drums that I have already pulled out is going under my '32 4dr Sedan! Has a really nice professionally rebuilt original '32 frame with Model A front crossmember.

    Dave

Ok, here are some pics! This '32 pickup has the very rare special light weight front racing fenders! Primered doors had been chopped, passenger side has pieces tacked back in. Have the pieces for drivers side also.

Went back to the junk yard today and scored this original caddy air filter, and of course it's way smaller than a modern carb. IMG_20200616_154030332.jpeg IMG_20200616_154035144.jpeg
