wasn't sure what I was going to do , so I ended up doing this for now, I may revisit it and make a whole shroud...

All I used was some scrap flat bar I had laying around.. 3/4"x 1/8" and 1" x 1/8" thick.. All those other fan install kits use the push through round zip ties .... ( Horrible!!)

The mount only took me 2hrs or so ...

    Right or wrong , this is what i did 20200613_093348.jpg 20200613_131505.jpg 20200613_131500.jpg 20200613_093506.jpg 20200613_143831.jpg 20200613_093524.jpg 20200613_143848.jpg 20200613_163007.jpg 20200613_165913.jpg 20200614_231836.jpg

Looks nice but you will get much better cooling with a shroud, as you have it now any areas not covered by the fan will not be cooled by the fan.

  3. The engine looks good, it also looks like you had enough room for a mechanical fan. HRP

I like your cantilever vise mount and the swingaway stool.

I do ! And I have the fan to go on it ... i just thought I'd see how this is first ... i had this electric fan laying around from a previous project, so I thought I'd put it to some use

  7. That needs a shroud and a mechnical fan.

    Here's the other side.

The bottle jack lift makes it a snap to move around... seeing how my shop is only 16'x30' 20200515_045205.jpg 20200515_045218.jpg

Well thought out. Bottle jack on descending casters...WAY better than the old foot drop casters!
This bench is inspiring, as I'm limited to 25' X 25'. Too many projects to waste space here. Very commendable. Thanks.

  13. If you decide to go that way in the future you might consider using a zips riser, it will move the water pump up 5" and that will center the fan on the radiator. HRP
