Finished the headliner this weekend and started on the door panels. Door panels have 63 Galaxie armrests and handles. Got one glued up. The top trim still needs to be polished and drilled & 20200502_175350.jpg 20200503_193352.jpg tapped. The garnish moldings are made from 1955 Chevy moldings, they will be painted red. 20200502_175350.jpg

When you first started this thread, in post # 17 I thought the front of this truck did not look very good it was just weak. Now that is just my opinion and not worth the paper it is written on just one opinion. Now this latest picture with paint and all the rest you have done, I now realize just how "Wrong" I was. I really like this front end now. I always appreciated the workmanship you have put into this truck. Now I can see your vision a little, and I have to say WOW!!!

I love this... "made a hood emblem today" like it's really no big deal to make a hood emblem from scratch.

I've really enjoyed the build. My first ride was the exact same color, and was a 55 1st series. Your's is a bit nicer!

  23. That emblem is incredible. Well done!

How about a "tech" on how you made the hood emblem?

next time I make some I'll take so pics. I make them a couple different ways, on my cnc and etching them with acid 20200511_144232.jpg 20200202_155313.jpg 20200202_160308.jpg
