Looking really good Nick - always love those cast straight spokes, but you're right, you may be better off with a little less tire. I'd be looking at 195 max on a 5" rim.

I met Scott of Team 3 at the GNRS and chatted for a while - great guy who knows his stuff and really helpful.

Next up is dialing in the suspension -- needs the shocks replaced in back (they bottom out right now) as well as bump-stops installed front and rear.

The exhaust needs a little work and I'd like to throw a quick coat of paint on the front clip so it will match the rest of the truck.

Won't have much time to work on it during the next few months, so no big plans right now!

  18. Looks good Nick.Like the stance, haven't been around much lately an the Galaxie has just been sittin. Not my intention but maybe one day soon will start driven it again.

  19. There was someone around here selling new short urethane bump stops for about $8 a pair shipped, may try a search? I bought enough to do several cars.

Thanks, Mark. I was very very sorry to hear about your son. I hope you and your family are doing well - will give you a call sometime.

It's coincidental, but I just brought home a 1964 Ford F100 pretty much identical to yours. I have started looking for replacement wheels for the AWFUL aftermarket wheels that are currently on the truck. I realize that this is a ten-year old thread, and I tried to PM you. But the HAMB is not able to find you.

Could you (or anybody) advise if those beautiful wheels/tires that you selected fit directly on your truck as purchased without any interference from body, frame, etc?

    Many thanks

Thanks. I thought that I did that, but I'm probably doing something Dumb. Hopefully he will see my question and respond.

The wheels and tires did fit great, without any rubbing, etc. The front suspension is aftermarket Mustang II, so I wouldn't compare front wheel fitment with stock front suspension.
