Usually I can find most stuff with Google searches but for some reason I can't find a stock front axle for a 49 F1. Mine is bent and everything needs to be rebuilt. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't have an extra one, but if you were to fill out your profile page or at least let us know where you are located, someone near by might just have one laying around. Would probably be expensive to ship. Good luck. Ron

normal procedure would be to straighten it in a press and buy some king pins to fix it

  4. Maybe if we knew where you are? I have a couple, but not interested in shipping one. You are welcome to swing by and pick one up....

I'm in Grants Pass, Oregon. I'll update my information. I've been a long time lurker and finally signed up around April.

  6. I have 1 in las Vegas you can have for free also

  7. A large truck repair shop may be able to straighten it if you dont turn one up.

If I wasn't looking for a stock one then I'd strongly consider it.

A while back a friend called me and said he had a truck he was doing a Mustang 2 conversion and did I want the axle.
I would check hot rod shops. this axle already had a disc conversion.
