    That cap and rotor are near impossible to find.

    as rusty as that is, probably not much. If there is pitting or corrosion on the cam that operates the points the rubbing blocks will wear quickly

    I don't know about the value....I have one like it that someone gave me.....

    And yeah, it looks kind of rough.

    Put it on ebay for no reserve starting at $20 and you might find out what it's worth.

  9. A Mallory YL is a desirable distributer. You can get points, condenser, rotor, and cap still from Echlin if I am not mistaken. granted the cap and rotor will be tan and not red but well sometimes its about driving it and not looking at it isn't it.
