    I had a thread on this build 2 years ago. I quit on it while I built the 27 hot rod with the 25 turtle deck. I guess the SM thread was deleted. Back on this build full speed ahead. #45-JFZ--9-16---18 thread 008.JPG #45-JFZ--9-16---18 thread 009.JPG #45-JFZ--9-16---18 thread 010.JPG #45, DEC. 9, 2018 001.JPG #45, DEC. 9, 2018 002.JPG #45, DEC. 9, 2018 003.JPG #45, DEC. 9, 2018 004.JPG

Love your builds and this car. Just like the ones I saw race in Waukegan and Hales Corner by guys like Miles Melius and Johnny Reimer. Gary

The hood is almost done. Needs some fine tuning on the right side. # 45 circa 1958 001.JPG

Finishing the welding. The body is painted. All removable parts are chrome plated. I thought I would build this car in 3 months. Has taken 3 years. That car would fit in very well at Balboa Stadium San Diego with the SDRA and the Modified Sportsman division from 1958 to 1961.

    I didn't want a fancy number to be the focal point. 2020-06-05 22.08.41-1.jpg 2020-06-05 22.08.41-2.jpg

Absolutely Fabulous! As you know, these are the kinds of supers I saw race when I was a kid at Waukegan and Hales Corners. But they never looked this good. A3 / Reimer was my hero.

Also, love the Casper art work. I just has to have a cartoon character, eh?
