Hot Rods 1947 lincoln rear end

I am converting my 47 Lincoln to open drive-line and keep my Banjo. I am trying to find out if my Lincoln has a 6 or 10 spline pinion. It is all original, 3spd O/D to banjo rear. I don't want to disable it until I have all the parts to change it over. I have already installed a 302 a few years ago and now am going with an AOD. Speedway can't answer my question. Ford and Mercury's is all they know about on adapter they offer. If I can't find my answer and have to go with a 9inch, 500caddy with turbo 400 here we come. Thanks for any help

Ummm take the torque tube off and count teeth.... That should give you your answer.

 

I have a loose one at home out of a ‘46. I will check it for you this evening unless someone beats me to the punch.
