I always liked the 54-55 Buick Special and Century dash with the airplane type controls for the heater and vents, also the 49 Buick dash. I loved the Pontiac high beam indicator that was a red Indian head. 0067a73d4278d7c8afb7e9672ecefd94.jpg 1949-buick-roadmaster-inst.jpg

  7. Thanks to the HAMBers who recommended the David Holland book of dashboards. Found a used copy on Amazon, it arrived today. Spent the last couple of hours lingering over every page. Just what I need...more justification for obsessing over details.

    I added a 48 MOPAR high beam/turn indicator:

How about for the rear passengers? 1933 Pierce Arrow "Silver Arrow" (shagged the next 2 from a 'net search):

They weren't the only ones who did that. 1931 Cadillac V-16 passenger compartment "dash":

Until next time, same 'dash' time, same 'dash' channel...

    Simple but, I think, classy.

Wow! I got a Deluxe Playmobile for Christmas one year when I was 9 or 10. The real item didn’t live up my anticipation. Still a lot of fun.

BC78D15E-4600-412A-AFE1-093166385F63.jpeg I’m guessing the Ford design engineers liked the 1956 passenger car dash so much they put it in the 57 Thunderbird.

54CC8774-79D9-44AD-B5B7-D6A492BB9A9D.jpeg Modified ‘51 Ford dash in my ‘36 Ford delivery, blended original ‘36 outer edges so it bolts in just like original. I added 3/8” to windshield edge to better hide gap.

Without seat belts in a Tucker you could really be hauling a** when your head hit the windshield in a crash...
