Is the Model T in post 17240 one of the wide track southern cars? I think they were 60 inch tread.

The first shot looks like Chuck Arnold (12) alongside Don Branson (7) in a 1963 USAC Sprint Car race. Not sure of the track but could this be at Allentown?

The last photo shows Andy Granatelli in one of his 1948 Indianapolis entries. This car is listed in some records as a Kurtis but it looks to me like a reworked Miller Ford from 1935. BTW, he crashed his other entered car.

You're right, the Granatelli car was a rebodied flattie powered Miller. I believe this is the same car that rookie Byron Horn wadded up on his rookie test in 49.

Was it the camera or the film? Some photographs on Kodachrome film are amazing.
If you go thru this entire thread you can easily spot the photos on Kodachrome.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

  24. I know it was only an oversight, but this is a Brookwood 4dr SW and not a delivery sedan. It was the lowest model SW and used the Biscayne trim.
