This is the same car that appears just a few posts back as the Corvette Auto Parts entry that Pat Forster made some passes in. Don Rackemann and Jerry Faust also drove it. Roo

Bad Ass car, wonder what ever happened to it? And another oft repeated photo of that car for good measure also taken at Arlington.
I stumbled on this car POGO II on the Indianapolis Facebook Marketplace. I have have no connection to the car or seller. I apologize if indicating it is for sale is not permissible. Link https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/263865291633651
This one was too cool to leave it alone! I had to do a little editing. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I recently posted up a photo scanned from an old Drag News from around 1974 (1st photo) . I said it was the only shot I had of my 59 Hilborn injected 427 racer. Since then, by accident I was connected with a guy who owned the car after me. He bought it from the guy I sold it to, Phil Cameron from Compton CA. He bought it in 78, kept it and raced it for 18 years, won some divison 7 championships, then sold it to the current owner somewhere in Missouri who has recently wrecked it and is in the process of rebuilding it. He provided me with these new(to me) photos. It was like reconnecting with an old friend that I hadn't seen in 45 years. I was 23 when I built/raced/sold this car. Wow, sometimes I love the internet.
