Hi. Can you identify if this roadster is a model A Ford and in that case what year?
    Thank you!

Yes, definitely a Model A roadster. Very difficult to tell from the photos, but it looks like a drum tail light on the back of the roadster which would date the roadster as a 1928.

Roadsters didn't have landau irons. The lower iron mount appears to be on the body not on the top, might be an aftermarket bolt on. From the bumper shape I also think it is a '30-31. And it is a sport coupe.

Thank you all for the input. Actually I found another one I would be glad if identified. Might be a little harder this time.[IMG]

From the look of the picture that the Model A is in, it looks like Europe, possibly France. As others have pointed out, the landau irons are mounted to the top of the quarter panel and the wheels are '30/'31. The taillight is too blurry to identify correctly as a drum or teacup. Because of the reflection in the rear top glass, we can't tell if it is righthand drive. I think to identify it correctly you need someone that is familiar with European built Model A Fords. In any case to answer your question, yes, it is a Model A.

  10. First pictures posted is indeed a Ford Cabriolet...easy to tell from a Sport Coupe........
