My buddy found this at a yard sale. Decided it was to much so got it. Healthkit with light and horn option. I missing the clutch and original air cleaner and t handle for shifter. Pretty good shape though for what it is. I be be getting rid of it though. I've been gathering parts for a Rupp chassis I'm stretching with a wheelie bar and a power will be McChollach true saving MC 20. Something to cruise around Bonneville when I'm not in the 34 3w!

Man I hate auto makes it seem like I can talk!! True MC 20 Kart engine. I might be getting rid of it for Rupp project. The guy had the original front wheel and fender thankfully. Bearings need replaced.

Ah.. the 1970s. I remember fighting over the "neighborhood" mini bike.

    My Mac 15 went 70 on a cart... I’d be a little skeptical with a 20 on a mini...

Its the lighted side of the work bench. He also got his first set of tools. Recently picked up this mini carcass. Thought it would be a fun project for us. Can someone tell us what it is so we can get started down the right path.

  22. My memory isn't good enough to tell you what it is with certainty. What I can tell you is you have a very good start. You have matching wheels and suspension on both ends. Because you have a jack shaft, you can change gear ratios fairly simply. I would recommend that you start out with a 2 hp. if you intend for the young man to learn on this. Enjoy the memories! :)

There's videos out there of mini bikes and go karts with the harbor freight 6.5 horse H-shaft engines.... Look them up.... ;)

    Morning,
Bonanza. My buddy Dave finished this one awhile back. I sold it to him as a rough project. As you can see he's a nut for details. Lots of parts available. The optional Hodaka motor would be awesome! Road a neighbors with the Hodaka motor when I was around 12, I'm 60 now and still remember that little bike being scary fast! Might be a bit much for an 8 Y.O. Looks like you have a really nice start.

  25. Thanks for the pic Johnny99, that's a great looking mini. I see you are local to me, any chance your buddy that built the bike is local too? It would be great to have a local resource to talk with when we have questions with the build.

  26. I'm searching my ass off for a frame to start with. Don't mind building a frame, but where can a guy find wheels for a mini bike? I want a small tire mini bike to take to the drag strip and bigger car shows/ swap meets. Like this.... Screenshot_20201103-145708_Gallery.jpg
