So, with 2 different numbers on the car, is each a different number in a different racing association?

    Congratulations Mr. Bad Bob!
    So cool.

Years ago, I did some work on a guy's completely stock 1933 3W, so I had the opportunity to sit in it and even drive it a little bit.
Another time, my wife and I jumped at the chance to sit in a chopped and channeled fenderless 5W.
I think we had more fun just sitting in that 5W. Something about it. We absolutely knew we were in a real hot rod. LOL

    Good luck with everything!
    Have fun!

We know what "666" is and "288" is something religious....

  7. 288 is the engine size. It's hard to see, but it has cu next to it.

My bad.. I didn't see the cu. in. "288" also has some religious connotation...

  9. Not to me. I'm not religious.

I'm a believer in loud pipes saves lives but you can make them too loud.

Well if some how I had your luck in getting this in my shop,
I'd be piss'n myself, that's for sure. Very kool, sweet, mean/agressive
    piece of early Ford machinery.

  17. haha I stalked it for years, waiting for Conrad to want to sell it. I offered to buy it, the day I saw it. And yes, I almost pissed myself on the way home! It's like the Hotrod version of my Merc. It's a fun car, but not too nice that you worry about people touching it.

Bob... '288' is an 'Angel Number', meaning guaranteed manifestation in $$, as well as good fortune.
(Father McGinnis's words, not mine... LOL)
Good number for a long lasting SBC!

  19. I don't mind the open exhaust, but it's too loud inside. I bought some Smithys, but I'm waiting to see how long I can hold out, hahaha.

  20. I guess that's cool if you believe in that stuff....Engine runs real strong, so i'm hoping it will last longer than me! haha

  21. Welcome back to the fold :).
