When I was 4 years old I had a pedal tractor that I rode all over. One summer night when it was just starting to get dark our next door neighbor came over with a flashlight and a roll of electrical tape (no duct tape back then). He proceeded to tape the flashlight on the hood of my tractor so I could ride even though it was dark. I still remember that gesture to this day, 65 years later. I'm sure your new friend will remember your gesture for many years to come as well.
