History What can you tell me about this intake?

  1. Hey guys, what info do you have on this intake? I’ve heard different theories but nothing definitive. Thanks

looks like it is early style, no hole for a breather tube like 8ba's, and it will require an offset generator mount because the two carbs are set evenly, which makes the motor happy, but cheats you out of room for the genny. never heard of that make, but really i am no speed equipment expert, i like jalopys

I want to say it's a V8 60 intake. But I could very well be wrong.

I'd say it escaped from one of those flathead manifold collectors who has a hundred or more assorted ones on his wall.
One thing, you run it and the mouthbreathers aren't going to be able to shuffle up and tell you they have one just like it on the shelf at home. Looks real similar to the Offy intake I have as far as carb location.

I can't tell you who cast it for sure ( Fenton comes to mind) but the company that did, did it for anyone wanting to put their logo on it. They would just redo the pad to say whatever the customer wanted.

  11. Ya I think I am. I bought one of the repop Navarro’s but this one is pretty neat. I think I’ll throw it on.
