Those cars that are paved over are from my home town of Hamden conn. that is the Hamden plaza, the pictures is around about 1977-78 when the "Ghost parking lot" was built has part of a modern art project in the shopping plaza in the 80s skate boarders would ride there skateboards around and over the cars,and it began to take its toll the pavement began to crack and moister got in the cars were rotting out ,it came to an end when a kid and his skateboard went thru the roof of one of the cars ,this is my 54 there a few days before the cars were removed
