I dont have anything against the Fulton visor personally...
but I agree that it doesnt fit the truck-
I would'nt run it. It may look good but It looks 'better' without it.

Cool project but the visor makes it look like something off of Thomas the Train.

Cool project, but I got to agree - the visor needs to go.

I had an old fire engine myself once, a '28 American LaFrance on a Chevrolet chassis. We piled about 20 kids into the hosebed fr the Christmas parade.

  13. I second that: lose the visor.

IMHO Visors don't look good on anything chopped. They just don't fit the look. Obviously the exception would be a model A.

We think visors look silly because they are unnecessary on anything but a golfer.
The whole concept of building a hotrods is to get rid of anything that doesn't need to be on it, and a visor is not only un necessary since chopping gets the windshoild down low enough so the sun glare is a non issue, the visor is nothing but one big ugly air brake, slowing the car down, both visually and actually.

Sounds good... Do you know Eddie Womble? Lives out on 35, That's where I found the engine... lots of old goodies on his place.
