Finished wiring, started on the carpet. Hopefully all that is left will be the gas pedal and transmission tunnel.[IMG]

  8. We got 7.5 inches if rain last night and I spent most of the day getting everything up off the floor after the garage flooded, all the swap meet cardboard boxes have turned into paper mache with all the parts soaked, parts in original boxes are ruined, it;s a frigging mess.

This has never happened in the past, I have a couple of fans running to finish drying everything out.

Here in the upstate of South Carolina we have had a rough row to hoe lately we seem to have one disaster after another, a few weeks ago after the storms & tornado's I was cutting up trees and one of them fell on the garage, HRP

Installed the correct shift arm in the replacement C-4 for the sunliner and also replaced the front seal too, going to get a rear seal too since its much easier to replace when out of the car.

Picked up a couple of Holley 94's today. Don't need but the price was right.

I feel your pain with the swap meet cardboard boxes getting wet. I had that happen a few years ago. I now have most of that stuff in plastic tubs. I also eliminated most of my garage flooding problems but if we get a downpour I still get some water in the garage. Ain't life wonderful?

  15. After moving the Hemi blocks out of the little trailer - an OLD neighbor hood fixture I was able to buy at the Estate sale along with his Sprint convertible (1 owner) - I went to try and unload the 413 that was in there - found the limit of my 8N tractor....

  16. Let's see the sprint convertible, what year is it? HRP

Just finished getting number 8 plug out of the ramp truck. Let’s just say that a bbc leaves no room on the right back corner. The others were a breeze. A corvette is a breeze compared to this thing. Nope the heat shields did not go back on.

  21. I sold it to a co-worker who had sold his when he got married - there's is a pic somewhere of my first great nephew in it. If it was a 4 so I might have kept it.

And bought the 80 gallon air compressor Sunday. Trying to take this to this :D

  25. Stripped paint, shot some epoxy, painted a door, painted a hood, 20200521_172529.jpg and messed around with my wagon spring...

  26. Found an old picture for HRP today......this is actually my first convertible also - a Futura with a little 260 - AND my/our first born 3rd generation ( from my dad ) nephew in about 1977 - the Sprint picture is with his son the first 4 th generation think that's a 1998 picture I'll find that. That door chrome was all it was missing. Today just happens to be my bro and his wife's 45th anniversary....

Today I cut, fit, welded, and ground fillers for every single unnecessary hole on the firewall, and in the engine compartment of my Falcon.

    From the BillyBob Shop log

May 22nd 2020 Installed the windshield hinges. Failed to note left and right during removal. Noticed during cleaning that one side of each hinge had a taller mounting leg. After some study, I made a WAG and installed them with the tall legs to the outside. The wild ass guess was wrong and I had to switch them. Getting the windshield positioned so I could start the small hinge leaf screws was challenging as well. Took some salty language to get the job done.

Attached the windshield frame to the hinge leaves at the top and windshield regulator at the bottom. The hinge to windshield frame screws were too short due to the hinge leaf thickness so another order to McMaster-Carr was initiated. To paraphrase the old maxim "measure twice and order once".

When the order arrives, I will remove each screw, one at a time, and reinstall with threadlocker blue. Then I can put paid to this task. Beer of the day was West Sixth Brewing's 6 Pennywile Pale Ale.
