Since Dad died in January, we have liquidated most all of his collection. Only a non-hamb car and a 48 GMC Silverside bus thats going this week. We have a collector from KC getting the two 54 Chryslers today. But we have decided to keep the three most memorable cars in the family. A 27 track T built by Jack Hahn, a 27T on A rails, (we almost sold it). And a 65 Mustang. I hope and pray all are safe in this time of trials and tribulations. @Sonofabob losing a parent is tough, selling their possessions just adds to the pain. Hope you're doing well in spite of the loss. Any photos of that Silverside? I've always been a fan of them.
I am sorry for your loss of your dad and adding my condolences. Glad you could keep some of the cars!
We're keeping the hotrod tradition going with the younger generation in the family. So it's staying positive. If they don't cancel KKOA, myself and the 27 will be there. Being raised around traditional hotrods, and I hate having to say traditional but sadly there are too many folks that don't know the difference lol. I bet you all had a good time sharing the hobby/affliction over the years. Nice that you’re keeping in going. It is important for so many reasons.
My condolences to you and your family. I'm actually envious of your relationship with your dad, I had a great dad but we didn't share the passion for cars, to my dad they were just transportation. HRP
Sounds like you kept the best ones. Love the Nailhead T. I hope that this process brings up a lot of happy memories for you guys.
On a second note, does anyone know if KKOA Salina is still on???? Sent from my SM-G975U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Sorry for your loss. He definitely had great taste and eye for details. Keep the T and drive with pride.
Here are some better pictures of the other roadster we're keeping, now that its not buried and in the home garage.
Both rods are awesome,I like the Nailhead 2x2 roadster my self best. Have the fun with them, they were built for. Having fun will for sure get smiles from above !
