Well we won’t have to wait long ‘cause this guy doesn’t sleep much from what I’ve seen! Randy

We've seen the last wagon which turned out great. No reason to think the latest one won't be ust as nice. Makes me think I might need another wagon.

Fantastic build! Looking forward to following along.

Another vote for saving the 4 dr. Looks very savable. I agree with dropping a SBC in it and making it a cruiser.

HRTH that would be sacrilege to put a SBC in there. A W block is the best way to go and one with AC is even better.

  8. yep, looks like gm X frame! Are you planning on eliminating the center bearing in the drive line?

  9. My dad had a nice '59 Parkwood. Too bad it had major rust issues. Great old wagons are hard to find.

  12. Go away and stop busting guys balls just because you don't like their car. News flash: The hamb doesn't revolve around your personal likes and dislikes.

This 62 Chevy wagon is not sitting and rotting. It has been an on going topic since 12/28/2007 on www.chevytalk.org. I'd love to see it finished.

  17. Did they make a 2-door full-size wagon like Ford did in '60-'61? Blown apart as far as it is, a four- to two-door conversion would be real interesting, especially if the C-pillar could be reworked and 'Impaler' trim installed.

That 62 is an incredible car. The song (She's real fine my 409) doesn't say anything about it being a wagon, I'd love to own that.

Following along, always wanted to have a nice older wagon, closest I've been is a '69 Ranch Wagon I owned for a couple of years in my younger wild days. It served me well as hunting/fishing/camping transportation and cabin, as well as a bordello on occasion.

We've all had a bothersome itchy mangina at one time or another. I usually keep that private rather than letting everyone know what's causing irrational comments.

Great thread and hard to keep up with your pace. We own a 60 Brookwood two door which we love. Going down the highway is like driving a small island. Can’t wait to see more of your progress.

Just a question as I know you love these and build them to race. Looking at that frame it screams for something like "Frame Connectors" something added from just behind the front wheels back to just before the rear wheels. Anyone ever try that?
