I dunno I have the Firestone champion deluxe blackwalls on the back of my 34 coupe on steelies. Basically everyone I know that has hotrods run them. I had them on a little banger hot rod I built on wire wheels front and back, and on the front of my last av8 coupe also on wire wheels. I dont put a lot of miles on my cars so I wouldnt feel comfortable speaking to their lifespan but they look cool and the car goes down the road good.
I’m not talking about whitewalls here... That’s not the tires I referenced. r Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I can't buy Firestones at a Firestone store like you are talking about. Try to find a local Cocker distributor in your area, it's the way to go...……….
I run big and little bias on 35 wire wheels and the Radial / Bias look a likes on a 62 Corvette. I havent had in trouble and best I can tell they are round. I am pleased with them
A friend of mine had them on an MG - TD he said they were fine just hated the tread design. Swapped them out for a set of Federal tires, they took very little balance weight and looked a lot better. The best part was we got them on Amazon for $51.00 shipped! I have the same tires on the front of my '32 and I really like them. KK
A friend has them in a 40’s look 32 fenderless roadster. On the second set.. couldn’t go over 55 on the first..
