Customs Factory Aluminum Heads

    Any suggestions on how to clean up factory aluminum heads and a possible coating? B05D4FEC-345F-4BA7-8934-26E78A099BC4.jpeg
     
  2. Glass bead it. Don't use regular sand. It will look like it was freshly cast.

    Watch the first 4 to 5 minutes of this video, they get parts vapor blasted. Looks like glass beading with water.

    Years ago, I spent a couple weeks polishing the living crap (Dremel tool) out of a set of these heads and they came out beautiful. Used them on the flathead in my '46 Ford PU...it really dressed up that motor

  12. Those 49 style are rare as hell! Only made for a few months in 49.
    I have a set on my hot Rod Early style 36 and prior.
    Slowly coming together.Not sure when the lock down ends but will be going real soon.

    Hi there, Would they possibly be for sale? Or any chance you have a spare passenger side one?
    I have the driver side one but would be willing to purchase a set if needed
