Swifty has been working on this car for longer than I care to think, not decades but longer than it probably should. However I think its getting some momentum now and given where its at, there are enough pictures that I can post a few up to show where he is up to. As to questions, ask Swifty as while he can't post pictures, he spends WAY too much time here, so he can respond to any questions.

So this is his 3rd hotrod and one I'm really looking forward to him finishing.

Im off to find some pictures to post here.

I was talking to Al at the RCCRC run, and he was telling me about his stroker motor. So... plus you always need a spare when you have two cars running the same motor, and who said there wasn't another car yet to be poly powered. I bought him a WEIAND 3x2 for the poly, pretty rare intake. So it needs a home.

Is Pete going to tie the Johnny joint mounts to the sides of the cross member with any sort of gussets to reduce the chance of any twisting? With the actual pivot point for the bars being cantilevered that far back off the flat plate base I would think that there would be a chance of at least flexing the plate as the car tries to roll about its longitudinal axis in turns.

Building the tail pipe section. We wanted the pipes to follow the chassis. The A rear X member and QC made it a little harder to get it right 20181004_160212.jpg

    Owen,

your 36 is really nice. Swifty should be on here to answer for himself. But if Yarrawonga is on this year he will be there. But its probably a toss up as to whether it will be on.
