HEMI Tech- Block, head, porting/polishing, and gaskets

    Just to update this, I have pulled the engine and removed the pistons for a more complete sonic check. I measured 48 points in each cylinder (overkill?) Thinnest was 0.138 on a non-thrust side and 0.177 on a thrust side, most were between 0.235 - 0.314. 2 cylinders were down to the 0.138.

    Really glad I am pulling this apart as I found a couple of issues, plus this thing was packed with assembly lube
    First was a couple of rod bearings didn't look so good.

    And 2 rings chipped off at the ends. Both were the cast second rings.

    That's about it for now, I still have to pull the crank and check the mains but that wouldn't add any value to this section of the Hemi Tech Index. Thanks again for all the help!
