Hot Rods Difference between left and right door skins for 34 Ford Pickup

What's the difference from side to side on the door skins for a 34 Ford Pickup? I see them listed as different part numbers but looking at my originals can't see an actual difference in the shape.

Its hard to explain, but the contour is different. I found out when I tried to use one side as a patch for the other side and the contour did not match. Just make sure you use the correct one.

 

I think I ran into the same issue as you. I got the panels years ago and finally installed them and one side the edge at the rear of the door sits further from the body a bit. I think I must have ordered 2 of the same side as well.

As for hinge cutouts....none in these
