I used an adapter fitting like this: https://www.affordablestreetrods.com/1-4-npt-male-to-5-16-inverted-flare-female-adapter.html
I don’t like using any rubber line from the fuel pump to the carb unless there is no other option. My last engine used rubber between the carbs but to me hard lines look so much cleaner.
Glad you got it figured out... Nice setup, very cool..I agree with you, about 15yrs ago I only started using solid fuel systems on the top of motors. No clamps that loosen or rubber hose that split..gas on a hot engine is not a good thing, no matter how close your fire extinguisher is.....take care.
That’s my next project, eliminating as much rubber line as possible. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I cringed to open up an old thread, but I am looking for a fuel filter that I can connect 5/16 hard line to. It appears you found one and I can see it is a Purolator, but despite multiple searches I am coming up empty. I have no problem finding one that fits 3/8 line however! Can you share the Purolator part number that you used?
