    The F1 I have been driving for 33 years,
    the M3 I bought 16 years agoand have been driving it for the past 4,

  15. I've been in bodywork mode. The cab is chopped about an inch on the A-pillars.

    It's simple @verde742, you just buy a dozen windshields and start cutting until you have removed "about 1 inch" without a crack!

    Looks great! I like the profile from the side. I've always wondered why Ford let that original design go to production, with the rain gutter running uphill to the front. It drives me nuts when people chop these and don't correct the "problem".

    Maybe Ford saw Rain Gutter running DOWN, and away from windshield.

    That is true for the rain gutter theory, but for hot rodders it just ruins the "look".

  24. I haven't dealt with cutting the windshield yet, but I have a few ideas. I'm confident I'll get it cut in only one, maybe two windshields. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

    Any time you give any car or truck a hot rod rake, you essentially create the same situation – drip rails sloping down toward the front of the vehicle. In my view, this isn't a problem – it's an improvement.
