2238B43F-5D50-449D-A640-F7F2B05BFA68.jpeg So heart broken right now.. one of my best buds was killed last night in a traffic accident. We had some of the best times driving to the round up and just hanging and laughing.. I’m going to miss making fun of him and all his uniqueness.. like being a magician or once in a Barber shop quartet? He would just say stuff like “I was once in a barber shop quartet” we would be like what? I’m going to miss his squeal when he would laugh so hard it would make us laugh even harder!! Joe T Creep I can’t believe you left us.. Rest In Peace my brother. I love you and will cherish the grille you gave me for tweedy pie.. it’s going to lead the way.. Your with your Dad now and I hope you guys are having fun and laughing like you did! See you on the other side bud. Joe Teague

Once upon a time Joe talked me out of that crazy notion I had of setting myself up with a flashy '67 GTX and sent a '64 Cadillac my way instead. It was barely the first week that I realized I was probably in over my head when I called him up in a panic and he directed me to reconnect the vacuum line to my transmission. His instincts were right, me and that car have seen some miles. Now it is 10+ years later, I still have her and spent most of the afternoon today swearing as I replaced the wiring to get the passenger window to move again.

Remembering Joe for the cool he put in to renaissance faires and the spark that pushed me over the edge into a lifelong love of driving and my cars.

From all over the country, this dude must have been revered. I never met him, but now I wished I had. Maybe I captured him in a picture at Top Notch. I shot many photos at that hallowed place.
