From multiple sources, appears car shows etc in the Dallas area are back on track starting this weekend May 2. Murphy Craft Beer & Car Show put on by Mustang Sally Productions is the first show on their online calendar, then shows every Saturday at the usual venues. Yellow Rose Classic All-Ford Show in Arlington also appears to be happening. That show was never taken off the calendar. North Texas Mustang Club event. Gonna go see for myself.
Barring a miracle, the following shows are cancelled: Road Rebels show, Mossyrock Wa, August 1 PSRA show, Rainier Wa August 2 Quarrymen show, Tenino Wa August 16 As the demographic of attendees and sponsoring club members is heavily weighted to the over-65 crowd, until a 'all clear' is posted for this high-risk group it's felt that cancelling is the best course. Even if this is managed (unlikely from where I sit), dependence on local business sponsorship will likely cripple these shows due to their financial tribulations.
The Antique Nationals was scheduled for next weekend May 9th, and as we all have heard will be post-poned. We are hoping for a summer 2020 date and are waiting for local and state word for when they will allow events to be held again in Southern California, San Bernardino County. Looks like Hot Rod A Rama 2020 in Pendleton has been Canceled per Event Organizers .. Reschedule date stated 7/29- 8/1 - 2021 next year.. check the thread for details that were posted.. .
CANCELLED FOR 2020 THE 31ST EDITION WILL BE IN 2021. Hello, We have been attending several versions of the Belmont Shore Car Show over the years. The big attractions for us are the hot rods, but also, 2nd Street has some of the best dining in this whole Southeastern, coastal region of Long Beach. The whole ½ mile long 2nd Street is well known as a hot summer cruise street. For these show dates, the long street is closed to through traffic and the myriad of cars are lined up all over the street. Sometimes it gets a little overwhelming, but, it is a car show. The 31st edition was scheduled for September 13, 2020. That still is a long time off, but on the caution side, the Belmont Shore Association cancelled the show for this year. Unless the California Governor decides that the whole crisis is over and it is all clear, (wishful thinking) it is postponed until 2021. The show last year attracted 40000 people and that is not possible to do a social distancing of 6 feet for each person. Jnaki Our favorite Italian Restaurant (Domenico’s) that is world famous for their pizzas and outstanding salads is still open. They have been dishing out great food since we were in high school and also, during the last time we were there before the crisis. The long street has changed over the years and so has the car show. But, the idea of a historic hot rod cruising area from the late 50s to whenever,has those memories pumping every time a road trip is scheduled through the area. Alamitos Bay, the Peninsula, and the “Long Beach” that makes the name, as well as 2nd street are all still around and are great places to visit once the “locked in place” is over.

Blue suede cruise in Norwalk Ohio has been cancelled. This was one of the best events in our area. Originally scheduled for July 10_12 . Hopefully things will get back to normal by next year.

...so far the Tin Butchers haven't cancelled this year's Scrap Drive event, but things aren't looking like it will happen. In June it looks like the state of Illinois is holding group meetings down to 50 people , our club alone has more than 50 people who help at our show including wives, girlfriends, etc. Will know more after June first, will update then.
Rose City Round up and Rust O Rama are both cancelled this year. Pretty much wipes out my car show schedule. Guess I can start looking forward to 2021 now. Hopefully "The Rona" will be in the rear view mirror by then.
West Coast Kustoms Cruisin Nationals Santa Maria has been postponed till the first weekend in October.
For all the Pacific North West guys, I just got notice from the High Desert Model A Club that the September Redmond Oregon Swap Meet has been cancelled for this year. Dang it, I always have a couple spaces there and really enjoy it. Dave
