Besides adding a vacuum reservoir are there any other tricks to making a wolf whistle louder?

i've never thought the volume was a problem, mine always seem to be plenty loud but then they die shortly after i install them. too much vacuum, too high of rpm=wears out the spinner thing is my guess. i have several dead ones to try and fix one of these days

I bought a car once that had a wolf whistle on it but can't say it sounded like a wolf whistle. It sounded more like a Pig squealing or farting. I threw it in the garbage. Probably should have listed it on eBay.

I had a old Chevy bus that had a 6volt electric "Vacuum Pump" mounted on the firewall that the vacuum windshield wipers were plumbed into.
It worked pretty good , the wiper didn't cut out when you really needed them , like they normally did when original.
And when I converted to 12 volt...."Holy Hyper Wiper" Batman.....
