Thanks guys, We usually celebrate with a few thousand people at the Nat's South in Knoxville,Tennessee and have a nice dinner but this year due to the current state of affairs we will probably have a low key celebration, and drive the old beater to McDonald's, grab a burger and eat cheap like we did the day we tied the knot. HRP

 

Danny there is nothing wrong with doing that. Take Brenda out and celebrate together, just the two of you!!

Congrats Brenda, and Danny! What I'd do is back the Hot Rods out of the garage. Then set up a nice table for two in there. Fix her a Big steak on the grill, with a bottle of Champagne. Don't for get the candle and roses either. You know your a lucky old fart. Ron...........

 

Ya know Ron, your suggestion just might have merit, I didn't think it through, I could go to the local deli and have some good sandwiches made or go to KFC and get a bucket of chicken, grab a folding table and load it up in the wagon and have a picnic, complete with a huge vase of daisy's since they are her favorite flowers. HRP

Just don't make her arrange her own daisy's! May of '72 - I was probably on foot patrol. Seems like a long ago and just yesterday at the same time. Congrats on 48 years and many more to come.
