I was told that these are 35-36 Ford 3 window coupe doors. Are they? I've got a couple people wanting me to price them. I've got no idea what they're worth. I was going to letter them and hang em on the garage wall. With that being said, I'm not overly attached to them. I'd pass them on to someone that needed them, but I need an idea of a fair value. So, how cheap would they have to be for you to feel good about bringing them home?
I just follow 35-36 builds, no hands on knowledge but thought a grand for the pair before seeing TagMan's post. The value is in that arch. Bob
Those are door top donors. The guy who needs them for his coupe will probably use some tudor doors from the beltline down. Even with that said, they are still probably worth at least $300 each nowadays.
I sold an extra drivers door I had a few years ago with the lower hinge torn off and rusty bottom for $700 Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I've seen several sets of 35-36 3W garnish advertised in the $2500-3500 range.... who knows if they got it. Hard to find originals.
I agree that they're door top donors for Sedan doors, especially considering they're shortened. Anyone else notice these doors have been shortened at the bottom a considerable amount, maybe 6"-8"? And angle cut at that. I'd say they hailed from a Jalopy racer or crude, sectioned or channeled Hot Rod.
You would think there would be more undamaged 35-36 3Window door tops out there that were saved from track use. Bob
