Customs Custom falcon convertible on the Munsters

Side view is bitchin'.............the grille, not so much.

 

Man,,,it always amazed me that the producers went to the trouble to have several cool cars in the production .
Because,,,you know it added to the overall cost of the show .
I read one time what the Munster coach cost ,,,( Barris ),,,to build .
Either way,,,,,since the show was geared towards young people,,,it was a smart move .

Agreed. The grille is 20 years ahead of it's time. But noboby's nostalgic about boxy '80's cars.

Have you seen the Punk Rods episode?

 

Looks a bit like one of those later Australian or South American Falcons.

 

Never realized it was the same car. I am not into 60s Fords but that is a cool car.

 

The Falcon is like the Model T of the 60s.
