    Hello,

My brother and I never liked the 1932 anything. 1933-34 coupes and sedans, the Model A coupes and sedans were more in our favorite choices book. When we did start to like the 32 sedan delivery or woody, they were now entrenched as the hot rod that was usually out of reach for teens and twenty somethings with minimal resources. That made our choices easier to match our bank accounts.

So, we stuck to other choices during our time being involved. If we had to choose the model of 32, it would be the Lakesterus Bonnevillii or the the Needle-Nose Record Breaker. The designers must have had some epiphany about the 32 grille not being as aerodynamic as it should be. Hence, the needle nose design for the streamlining effect.

If we look at the years of Bonneville or El Mirage, those roadsters have been getting the lowered, streamlining designs and modifications to somehow overcome that blank wall pushing the wind on those long full bore runs. Some of them end up as the modern version of the Lakesterus Bonnevilii and the record books. Nice story on those early choices and designs.

Pretty sure I’ve seen some things out in the wild that land pretty close. Yikes!

My first impression of the last one was of a Studebaker Avanti.
