Looks like Frank Kurtis with Johnnie Parsons' brand new dirt car. I believe Parsons won a couple of races in this car during the 1951 season.
You wouldn't want to navigate those stairs after a night on the town! 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
The 58 Bel-Air in the top pictures reminds me of my Mom's Aunt Clara. In about 1963 she came to visit us, when I saw she wasn't driving her old 50 Chevy 4 door she said she sold it to her neighbor boy. She bought a really nice 58 Chevy Bel-Air 4 door sedan from another neighbor. It was two toned blue and white with a 3 on the tree. She said she liked it pretty well and it ran really well but it sure did like the gas! Dad went out and raised the hood and found a tri-carbed 348. She went through about 3 clutches before being talked in to a 60 Impala with a automatic, she bitched about that car until she died!
I believe this to be the finished product from the first photo.....Gerald Chamberlain's 76 owned by Joe Bullock.
