I’m as high risk as anyone around, but I can wait. I look forward to the drags, but always seem to be late on my registration.

On the subject of donations, that reminds me I should renew my Alliance membership.

I was planning on going the year so I'm in if if happens. I agree with the registration to cover expenses and the rest going to MoKan if it doesn't happen.
Maybe a online race and we can all get banned from NASCAR....

Really good science information being reported right now, as to how temperature and sunlight cut the life of the virus dramatically.

That is good news. Also, we are talking about a race that is four months away. I have to believe that in four months we are most likely going to be fine. If I have to bathe in a pool of Lysol to make a pass at the HAMB Drags, I will sure as hell do it.

There's a probability that the event will be canceled due to Covid-19. I just hope that it will be over soon so that we can go back to how it used to be.

By the way, I'm gonna give it my damnest to have this little car ready this year. She is more of a bar hopper than a long driver, but I'm sure she will be up to the trip.

Trying to stay off the Cor**na topic, but I wanted to throw this out there. Concerts, amusement parks and other "attractions" (sounds like drag strips to me) are a go starting today.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson has given the okay for concerts to begin again in the state as early as Monday.

On April 27, Governor Parson released his Show Me Strong recovery plan that details plans for gradually reopening the state's economy starting May 4. The plan allows for retail stores to serve customers in-store at limited capacities and for restaurants to re-establish dine-in services while remaining socially distanced.

A first for the country since governments started instating lockdown orders, Missouri will allow residents to attend live events, including concerts. According to the Show Me Strong guidelines, large events and gatherings are no longer banned, but in order to go to a concert, movie theater or stadium "seating shall be spaced out according to social distancing requirements."

Feel free to delete this post if it is too far into the stuff we don't talk about zone, but it sure sounds encouraging to me.

A few cities/counties/states are doing the same. I'm not convinced it's a good idea just yet, and will be watching quietly from our quaint quarantine quarters to see if the corona numbers take an upturn in two or three weeks.

Probably not going to make it on the 8th -9th, went out of town for a week and need to catch up. Hope to go Friday the 15th. 4 year build on this car, I am ready to burn some rubber.

I want to go to test my drag week entry but I will wait a couple of weeks until the test and tune crowd thins out.
