Is there any info on the sprint car in the first photo? Looks like a well built car. And the other is a great action shot of Tony Bettenhausen in the Belanger Stevens built car. I'm guessing 1947 for the year but I'm not recognizing the track. Thanks for the great photos!
It is the Venezia Brothers chevy. Mostly ran URC, drivers Jim Maguire, Hank Rogers. They sold it a couple years down the road and joined with Wergland, drivers Red Reigle, Larry Dickson. It was a copy of a Kurtis, although Kurtis didn't do many. The car with Maguire driving won the Horn Shindler memorial at Williams Grove, but Foyt protested and they failed the haul down. It was a Shilala. Just came to me.
