Does anyone make a wheel that has an original look of the AD trucks but in 5x4.5 or 5x4.75 and in 7 and 8" widths that has the clips fot the stock caps? I like the look of the stock setup but want to be able to bolt up to my modern suspension and fit a wider tire.

Some of the wheel specialty places may be able to supply them, but if you have or can get some original wheels,,,,,,,,,,you can remove the centers yourself and mount them in wider rims. There are companies that sell just the outer rim/ring. Might even find some larger as well as wider rims.

Caps off 6 lug wheels don't fit the 49-53 5 lug wheels, but if you cut the ring off the back of some junk passenger car caps you could rivet them to the back of your truck caps.

Original centers are 6 lug so that's out. Passenger car 5 lug rims don't hold the truck caps.

I've always wondered why one of the aftermarket truck trinket vendors doesn't make/sell a Stock AD looking hubcap that fits over the nubbies of later passenger car centers. Maybe even buying bare metal baby moon caps and stamping in the Chevrolet, putting decent chrome on them and lettering them.
You can buy the clips to hold the caps but getting them centered would be a real challenge.
