    Interesting but I stopped watching when they suddenly did a time warp.
    It started out as a kind of 50s vibe and then moved ahead. Should have stayed on the period theme.

    That kid runs a homebuilt 1300hp turbo LS in a wickedly fast street S10. That 55 was his grandfather's that he dug out of the barn and repowered so is grandparents could drive it again while they were able.

    If that ain't hotrodding, I don't now what is.

    If you check out his channel, there is a companion video where he chronicles the resurrection of the 55. Its a good one.

    I kind of agree with you. But with this time and age, I can also see the modernization during the filming. But the film is not about the 50's. It's about the car.
    I don't think there is anyway around it.
    We can't go to a sock hop with out riding in a minivan today.
    It's done tastefully.
