Just picked up this 1933 Ford Vicky. It's Rough but RARE. Not sure what I'll do with it.

'33 Vicky's are so much prettier than '34's . Somebody needs to save it .

Apart from the trunk and front sheet metal, what are the differences as we never got them down here? Damn you've lots of work ahead with that body.

That's how we get them here in the great grey north... looks like with today's patches you have a rare hotrod in the works...

That bustle back and delicate grille are beautiful. I was at the LA Roadsters meet many years ago and I went to the bathroom. Sitting outside was a 33 VIC full fendered, light tan body and chocolate brown fenders, cream Kelseyville Hayes wheels and the perfect stance. Never saw it again, but over 30 years later, my wife still asks me when I play to build one. Wish I could but every time I had money, there was no car, and every time I found a car (which was seldom), there was no money. I'm sure SOME BODY can identify with that!

  13. I am in the process of having a 34 tudor sedan converted into a 33 Vicky. I also like the body lines of the 33 over the 34. As mentioned how many steel ones have you seen ? For me 2 .

I'd fix it. Many years ago we saved a 32 Vicky, all we had was the back section from the doors back, we used nice modified 2 dr doors and a good 4 door cowl. Recut 2 door garnish moldings. We did have a new Vicky wood kit which helped. When it was done it fooled the best in the business until I told them what it was made of.

My Dad had a 1933 and still had most of the paint on it . Cool project.

Best 30s body style ever in my humble opinion , find a very good Tudor and put the rear of the crappy body on it, job done
