Hot Rods Help needed...who can identify this part

Can anyone tell me any info on the finned carburetor air plenum???? who makes it, who sells them...been looking online for a few days after seeing it here in another thread......any help would work...

 

dont have an answer but could it be an owner fabricated part ?

Doesn't it say Spectre on the blue rubber piece? Is that from pep boys?

I was looking for a carb hat that is finned and has the air inlet on the side....like the pic I posted, cuz I want the fins to flow front to back, like the valve cover I got from Tom @ 12bolt.com...thanks for everyones help so far...might have to just fab one....

 

Or mount a piece of cast aluminium heatsink on a plain inlet. Check out electronic supply places, or aluminium extrusions.

 

Looks to me like a LPG air filter housing that's been repurposed. I had one very similar on a six cylinder Holden motor. It was a dual fuel setup.
