  3. Time to see if the ruminations have paid off. I decided to sleep in, so I missed out on identifying the clown from the Circus World Museum...which is in my town!

The item that I posted last night is an accessory piece for your Model T. It mounted to your spare tire carrier with the three points of contact, and then allowed you to carry a second spare tire with you.

  4. And for the record, since I live on a farm in Wisconsin, that money changer thing looks exactly like the hay trolleys hanging from the upper reaches of my barns.

Hey, I AM a Geezer, and have always been a keen observer, but don’t recall ever seeing one of these (Lamson trolley)........ I guess I didn’t get out much in my early years...:D

That's pretty cool about the model T spare tire carrier, funny how no matter how I kept looking at it, I never envisioned it as a spare tire carrier. Thanks for the answer, always cool to learn something new about old stuff.

    OK, round 3.
Lets see if the contestants can accurately identify what engine this dual miller distributor is attached to? The hint is, the vehicle its in, is of a certain historical nature! Have at it!

Good morning and thank you for playing, and that is not the correct answer, think in terms of a special car that was a record setter, for its class at that time.

  13. Apparently not setting records at the box office.

I’ll go with the Bluebird streamliner then.

Good morning and thank you for playing, and that is another wrong answer. You were partially correct in that its an inline 6, but it is not an aviation engine nor is it a boxer engine.

My brother who is 5 years older than me told me once the the local JCPenney store had those trolleys, but by the time that I started shopping there, they didn't use it any more.

Most people would not get this one, so here is the reveal. Its a pontiac inline 6 banger flathead on the eddie miller Jr. stream liner. I saw it years ago at the Mendenhall gasoline BBQ in buelton california, its a very cool rig.

  20. Alright, so I was close. It was a lakes car. Was expecting a much bigger engine to go with the ignition system.

Since we brought up Mack trucks, does anyone know what year these Mack emblems are off of? I don’t know, hoping you do.

OK, round 5 and this one isn't going to be easy. I had to go dig this out of one of my boxes. These came in a pair, and yes its a red light lens and housing its not automotive so you wont find it any catalog of lights and marker beacons. The question is, why the red lens? And why was it used and bonus points if you can identify the unit it was used on ! The answer will surprise you !

  28. Red lens so it doesn’t mess with your night vision. Maybe submarine?

  29. No points for that...I already knew that. It’s just there to help you identify the Mack emblems. :)

You are partially correct, the color red was to not mess with night vision, keep going, and its not marine related.
